Last night, CJ and I were arguing the age old question: do drugs find teens, or do teens find drugs? I know, you were having the same conversation in your kitchen on a Sunday night. We watch a lot of Intervention in this house, so don’t judge.
Chris’ argument was that it is environment- if they know where to get it, they will get it.
My argument was that some teenagers can find it anywhere. I cited “Raising Helen”, where Hayden Pannettierre’s character is taken out of her suburban home and into the city, yet still manages to get into mischief.
And then we were silent because we realized I just used a Kate Hudson movie to prove a point about parenting.
