Do you ever see a photo and think: “Yes, that sums up that time quite nicely.”

Well, that’s our photo.

We moved in a blizzard. To our “Chapter Four”, as we are so aptly titling this.

We had to leave a lot of loose ends in New York. Our lease expired at midnight, the landlord threatened to throw out all of our stuff if we didn’t get it out…so Chris took care of BUSINESS and drove back to New York City in a blizzard after moving for ten hours to scrub our apartment and stuff the remaining desks and doodledeetas into the Jeep.

When he got back, it was close to 2 a.m. He couldn’t answer his phone while he was driving because of the conditions on the road, so I paced in our new little apartment. Not unpacking, just really praying he got home in one piece.

He did. He collapsed on our chairs, with Harley and a lamp shade, and I made him a sandwich and snapped this picture.

The beginning of Chapter Four.
